THE WORK The Cyber Systems Security Engineering team in Moorestown, NJ is seeking an Electrical or Computer Engineer to design, develop, and sustain hardware based anti tamper solutions that safeguard critical military technology. You will work closely with cross functional engineers, program managers, and customers to ensure security requirements are met and to evaluate emerging threat vectors. In this role you will:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science from an accredited college
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Coursework in Cybersecurity, such as Security Fundamentals, Networking Security or Operating System Security.
  • Experience with hardware, electrical or computing engineering methodologies.
  • Beginner experience with agile methodologies, automation techniques, DevSecOPs.
  • Scripting experience (e.g. Python, C++, Bash, Perl, Powershell).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, administrative and interpersonal skills
  • Linux command line and file system experience
  • Security+ certification
  • Vulnerability analysis experience using cybersecurity tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement hardware anti tamper architectures that protect mission critical systems.
  • Verify system design requirements and capabilities through rigorous analysis and testing.
  • Conduct component and system level assessments of reverse engineering threat vectors and plan effective countermeasures.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend design improvements to enhance security posture.
  • Lead technical presentations and briefings for internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Collaborate with embedded microprocessor design teams to integrate security features early in the development cycle.
  • Document design decisions, test results, and security analyses in clear, concise reports.
