We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented cybersecurity professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will help protect our organization’s data, infrastructure, and assets from cyber threats by implementing, monitoring, and improving our cybersecurity controls and practices. A current certificate from ISC2 or ISACA (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA) is required. This position would be based out of our Iselin, NJ or Roswell, GA office and has the potential for a hybrid schedule.

  • Monitor and analyze network traffic and security events for signs of compromise or anomalies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
  • Implement and manage security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, EDR, IDS/IPS, and DLP systems.
  • Respond to and investigate cybersecurity incidents, including root cause analysis and mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards (e.g., NIST CSF 2.0 and ISO 27001).
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to assess and improve security posture, especially with application development.
  • Assist in user awareness training and phishing simulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
  • One or more active certifications from ISC2 (e.g., CISSP, SSCP, CCSP) or ISACA (e.g., CISM, CISA).
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, threat modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Experience with cloud security (Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CrowdStrike Falcon is a plus.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (finance, government).
  • Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST CSF 2.0 or ISO 27001.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
