About The Position

Cybersecurity Analyst Rothe Development, Inc. (RDI) is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security control assessment, vulnerability assessment, software assurance, and risk assessment teams supporting DoD requirements. This individual will perform research, analysis, and data gathering activities while conducting threat, vulnerability, and capability maturity assessments. The individual will be expected to apply critical thinking, conduct gap analyses, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of cybersecurity in large, complex defense systems. Contingent upon contract award to Rothe, this position will be based on-site in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and requires an active Secret security clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
5+ years of Cybersecurity-field experience.
Extensive training experience and ability.
Active Secret Security Clearance required
Position requirements are identified as DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II prior to accepting position - no exceptions.

Responsibilities

Performs data gathering, research, and analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments.
May apply critical thinking, conduct gap analysis, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of the risk management-related program and contribute to constant innovation and improvement
Capable of executing Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessment, Cybersecurity Software Assurance Assessment, Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, or Cybersecurity Posture Baseline Assessment tasks.
