About The Position

Cybersecurity Analyst The Opportunity: As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. We’re looking for an experienced cyber mission specialist like you to apply your knowledge in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) applications which are essential for managing the Army’s IT portfolio. In this role, you’ll be counted on to understand cybersecurity postures to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will leverage cybersecurity operations systems to aggregate posture information that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to our customer's mission area. This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform system operators and senior leadership or commanders on the cybersecurity posture of the mission area. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with cyber
  • 3+ years of experience in working Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • 2+ years of experience with eMASS
  • Knowledge of the APMS application to perform search and validation activities
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53r4 or NIST 800-53r5, NIST 800-37r2, and Army Regulations AR 25-2
  • Ability to coordinate cybersecurity and risk management efforts across organizations
  • Ability to support the integration of cybersecurity tools and processes to ensure interoperability and efficiency across Army networks
  • Ability to maintain compliance with Army policies and standards, identifying gaps in systems, and recommending solutions to strengthen operational effectiveness
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) tools, such as STIGViewer, STIGMAN, EvalSTIG, or SCAP
  • Experience with staff coordination across the Army
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and analysis
  • Ability to brief senior leaders
  • Ability to coordinate with stakeholders across the DoD
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of proactive, timely problem-solving and strong decision-making skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity

Responsibilities
