Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or security operations.
• Foundational knowledge of networking, Windows systems, and basic security concepts.
• Strong curiosity, problem-solving skills, and desire to learn.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, or endpoint security is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and dashboards to identify potential threats and unusual activity.
• Assist with analyzing, triaging, and escalating security events and incidents.
• Support vulnerability scanning and help track remediation efforts with IT teams.
• Assist in maintaining and tuning security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and email security systems.
• Participate in endpoint and network hardening initiatives.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and security documentation efforts.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices across the organization.
• Stay current on emerging threats, tools, and cybersecurity best practices through ongoing learning.
