About The Position
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst, SME in Huntsville, AL. The Cybersecurity Analyst, SME will be responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues and investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents. This role involves documenting security breaches and assessing the damage they cause, as well as working with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing. The analyst will also be tasked with fixing detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard and recommending best practices for IT security. Additionally, the position requires installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
