About the Team The CyberArk Systems Engineer will join the End User Computing (EUC) Engineering team located in San Jose, CA. The team is dedicated to enhancing endpoint security through innovation and collaboration, fostering a culture of open communication and continuous learning. You will report to the Manager of EUC Engineering, who embraces a supportive leadership style that emphasizes mentorship and team empowerment. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid setup, requiring them to be in the office three days a week to engage with team members and facilitate collaboration while enjoying the flexibility of remote work for the remaining days. This role does not involve any travel, allowing you to focus on supporting CyberArk’s Endpoint Privilege Manager and enhancing our endpoint security strategies from the comfort of your designated work environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience with CyberArk EPM, endpoint security tools, or OS administration (Windows, Linux, macOS).
  • Foundational understanding of Windows and macOS workstation operations and application execution flows.
  • Knowledge of least-privilege principles and endpoint security best practices.
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation in Confluence (troubleshooting guides, SOPs, policy updates).
  • Solid communication and troubleshooting skills for user support and policy refinement.
  • Experience in enterprise environments with emphasis on large-scale deployments.
  • Strong motivation to learn and grow in CyberArk EPM administration.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with application allow-listing, endpoint application control, and macOS privilege escalation workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM) across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms.
  • Troubleshoot privilege-related issues, ensuring optimal functionality of endpoint security measures.
  • Assist with application control policies, including allow-listing, deny-listing, and grey-listing.
  • Analyze application behavior and document procedures to enhance overall endpoint security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support EPM deployments and address user experience concerns.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening least-privilege enforcement.
  • Establish a comprehensive documentation process in Confluence for troubleshooting and policy updates.
  • Achieve proficiency in CyberArk EPM administration and endpoint security principles within the first year.
