Requirements

• Ideally 4+ years experience in a combination of relevant roles, to include cyber underwriting or broking
• Established relationships with West Coast brokers and distribution partners
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Highly focused, enthusiastic, and creative thinker
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a prompt and professional manner
• Ability to negotiate with sophisticated advisors and clients
• Ability to be proactive, work independently, and make decisions
• General knowledge of and ability to comprehend cyber and tech insurance products

Responsibilities

• Underwrite US cyber and cyber/tech open-market business in the South Central Region (TX, OK, LA and AR)
• Analyze risk, setting pricing, and undertaking policy review
• Negotiate with brokers on new and renewal business
• Assist in helping set the divisional strategy, including engagement in the business-planning process
• Develop business, including identifying new distribution, products and relationships
• Build and manage relationships domestically and internationally, including brokers and cover-holders
• Represent Mosaic in client meetings
• Act as a representative of Mosaic by attending client meetings, broker engagements and industry events
• Create a sales and marketing plan to identify new business opportunities
