About The Position

CNF Technologies is searching for a Mid-Level Automation Tester to support United States Space Force (USSF). This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO. As a Mid-Level Automation Tester with CNF, your development activities at the Cyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF mission systems.

Requirements

• Programming Languages (at least 2): Java, Angular, Gitlab, RHEL, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr & Python
• Experience or knowledge in Agile methodologies, agile project management, software development life cycle management, cross-functional team, agile software testing, test-driven development, software test planning, software test automation

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity & knowledge of SIMP Project, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL
• Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
• Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office

Responsibilities

• Analyze test results and coordinate with the development teams for bug fixes
• Analyze underlying causes of performance issues and provide corrective action
• Develop automated test scenario(s) and environment for performance testing
• Review and recommend improvements in existing test procedures
• Coordinate with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases
• Use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETE etc.
• Validate xml and json body using json parser
• Use the OAuth and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms
• Perform Load and Security testing on web services
• Design and develop test automation scripts to create, enhance, debug, and run test cases
• Research issues in software through testing to validate feedback, response time, & error code
