Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Self-motivated individual with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to display strong emotional intelligence and foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Initially required to be on-site daily, then at least two days per week; with additional days as needed in support of operations
  • Proven ability to ability build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Secret security clearance required (TS preferred)
  • Experience with Department of Defense Cyber Operations
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain
  • Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)
  • Experience with Jira or other similar platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience

Responsibilities

  • Conduct periodic performance check-ins with team
  • Conduct final reviews of threat reports
  • Lead a small team of cyber analysts
  • Monitor JIRA for various tickets and respond/assign as needed
  • Compose cyber reports for Defense Industrial Base partners
  • Conduct open-source research of indicators of compromise utilizing common threat vendor tools
  • Analyze threat data from various sources and provide updates to government stakeholders as appropriate
  • Provide cyber threat briefs to internal and external audiences as requested, and provide feedback to other briefers as part of a “dry-run review team”
