About The Position

The Cyber Team Lead ISSM supports the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network which provides the IT environment for 100% of the DLIFLC teaching and instructing for all students, staff, faculty, and guests in a learning environment at the unclassified level.

Requirements

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience in Network Engineering or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience.
• Requires one of the following IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.
• Specialized experience requirements include 7 years of progressive experience in serving as a cybersecurity specialist.
• Experience leading a team.
• Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Cybersecurity Team Lead; responsible for management, coordination, and oversight of the contract Information Assurance team.
• Duties include all Tier 2 duties, planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all Cybersecurity servers and applications.
• Ensure the Academic Network meets all AR 25-2, DODI 8510.01, and other applicable DA, CAC, and/or DLIFLC information assurance requirements.
• Ensure that all new projects are built, configured, and implemented to meet NIST, RMF, and best practices standards.
