Requirements

• Bachelor's degree majoring in Cyber Security, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, and Information Assurance or a related field.
• DoD 8570/8140 approved certification such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CISSP, or equivalent.
• Identify vulnerabilities and provide analysis, guidance, and remediation requirements.
• Provide Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) hardening guidance.
• Complete daily system audit analysis and log reviews.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of or hands on experience with performing Cybersecurity activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing, and sustainment.
• Secure Configuration/Hardening of Department of Defense (DoD) information systems.
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and cloud technologies.
• Providing guidance on DoD Cyber regulations and requirements to engineering and software development staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and provide analysis, guidance, and remediation requirements.
• Create and execute Certification Test Plans (CTP) for various applications, operating systems, and devices.
• Support security tool design and system integration.
• Complete media security inventory control.
