At Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) you'll have an opportunity to create a better world every day! In this role you will assist in the development of subsystems designed to protect sensitive technology and data. You will perform System functionality definition including system states and modes, and anti-tamper and/or cyber security design features. You will work as a member of a development team to create and mature Anti-Tamper Subsystem designs, to include requirements development, trade studies, implementation and maturation of AT features, and associated documentation. Develop model-based Systems Engineering diagrams and timing assessments to characterize system behavior for applicable use cases. You will assist in the generation and maintenance of Program Protection Implementation Plans and other relevant artifacts. You will communicate / coordinate with program leadership personnel, subcontractors, external customers and independent government review team personnel. In this role you will also participate in internal and external working groups, technical interchange meetings and program milestone reviews. Lastly, you will assist in the execution of mitigation activities to address subsystem technical and programmatic risks.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Mathematics.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity including system design, secure coding, product security, vulnerability assessment, and cyber defense.
  • Working knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows/Linux) and security hardening measures for configuration settings.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Knowledge of Cyber-related governance, e.g., RMF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-37, and OWASP Top 10.
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Risk Management Framework or CIS Controls.
  • Experience with cybersecurity toolset (Nessus/ACAS, NMAP, SCC, STIGViewer, Wireshark, etc.) and Software Assurance Tools (Fortify, Coverity, etc.).
  • Experience or familiarity with security engineering principles such as cryptography and secure coding practices.
  • Hands-on knowledge of embedded software/cyber system design.
  • Understanding of NSA-approved cryptographic standards and methods.
  • Experience delivering written/oral presentations in a professional environment.
