About The Position
As a Cyber System Security Engineer Staff for the F35 Training System Program, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining the advanced software systems that power the F-35 aircraft training systems. Your work will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including system testing, requirements analysis, verification and validation, collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, risk management, and continuous improvement. This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the security posture of critical systems. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and testing patches to mitigate vulnerabilities in software, hardware, and firmware. You will manage vulnerabilities through analysis and remediation of IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), CVEs, Vendor Patches, and STIG configurations. Additionally, you will document and verify all installation and configuration steps for patch installations, following Agile processes to submit problem reports and coordinate integration activities with Cross Functional Product Teams. Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards will also be part of your daily tasks.
