Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity
  • 4+ years of experience developing, securing, or engineering software systems within classified DoD environments
  • Experience with secure coding practices, code review techniques, and common software vulnerabilities, such as OWASP Top 10, CWE, or SANS
  • Experience implementing security controls across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with a programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
  • Knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and DoD cybersecurity engineering policies
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity
  • DoD 8140 baseline Level II Certification, such as Security+, CySA +, or CISSP

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting software assurance, code analysis, and ATO packages for DoD or Air Force systems
  • Experience with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD automation, and tools, such as GitLab CI, SonarQube, or Checkmarx
  • Experience collaborating with developers, system engineers, and ISSOs to ensure compliance with RMF and STIG requirements
  • Knowledge of static and dynamic code analysis techniques and secure software design principles
  • Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Assurance
