About the position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cyber Security professional to join their Cyber & Intelligence program. This role focuses on protecting critical networks and infrastructure from cyber threats, utilizing advanced technologies and a microservices-based architecture. The position involves working collaboratively with a team to modernize legacy systems and ensure compliance with defined specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and system architecture, contributing to the design and deployment of enterprise-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in configuration design and revisions to complex software programs.
• Document and define system requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with defined architectures.
• Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements.
• Design and generate C4 software architecture modeling diagrams for software solutions.
• Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of software systems.
• Review and approve system engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years with a related Master's degree.
• Considered an emerging authority in the field.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with agile processes and iterative collaboration with customers.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale system architecture and software capabilities.
