About The Position

We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our Cyber team based out of Scott AFB, Hill AFB, and Whitehall, OH (the incumbent can choose their preferred location) starting in March 2026. This position will support the DISA GSM-O Task Order 09 Network Assurance (NA) Program. The selected candidate will actively engage with Security Analysts to anticipate their needs and deliver innovative solutions to challenging defensive cybersecurity issues. A successful candidate will join a dynamic team to identify requirements and lead change within Cyber Security programs for DISA and its DoD Mission Partners. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong cyber skills who can operate both independently and as part of a collaborative team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate will be responsible for leveraging the full capabilities of Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate to design, develop, and implement robust solutions that significantly accelerate and streamline Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) missions. Key responsibilities include: Solution Development: Utilize Power BI and Power Automate to create automated workflows, playbooks, and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of DCO mission activities. Data Visualization & Leadership Support: Design, build, and maintain dynamic and interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations within Power BI. These visualizations will be critical in providing actionable intelligence and key insights to command leadership, directly enabling informed, data-driven decision-making. System & API Integration: Create and consume APIs to integrate various security tools and data sources. Automation & Engineering: Design, develop, test, and implement custom systems, data manipulations, and detections to automate and mature security operations. Performance Metrics: Assist in creating and tracking metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness. Cyber Defense: Protect the enterprise network and actively work to detect and mitigate malicious actors. Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with government stakeholders to help integrate new capabilities into operations and assist with Knowledge Management tasks.

Requirements

  • Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen, possess an active Top Secret clearance, and be eligible to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Certification: Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II (or higher) certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC). Must be able to obtain a DoD 8570 CSSP-A certification (e.g., CySA+, GCIA) within 180 days of hire.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Cyber, Software Development) with 4-8 years of applicable experience. Advanced cyber security certifications may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Technical Experience: At least 2 years of progressive work experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, Python development, SOAR development, or other relevant software development.
  • Core Competencies: Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to adapt to new technologies in dynamic environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Microsoft Power Platform, SOAR, or other automation-related certifications.
  • Experience with AI/ML tools and technologies.
  • Experience with DISA and familiarity with its mission and DCO environments.
