About The Position

Cyber Software Engineer Key Role: Architects, develops, and operationalizes software solutions and systems that perform cyber data analytics at scale in a variety of technology platforms. Applies specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance. May review or guide the activities of more junior employees.

Requirements

  • Experience developing software solutions in secure or mission-critical environments
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, or Go
  • Experience building, testing, and deploying software within Linux or Windows environments
  • Experience with secure coding principles, static or dynamic code analysis, and vulnerability remediation
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated build tools
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, APIs, and data structures
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8140 Level II Certification, such as Security+, CySA+, or CISSP Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing software for cyber defense, cyber tools, or automated detection or enrichment workflows
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks, fuzzing, or exploit mitigation techniques
  • Experience with DevSecOps environments, containerization, and cloud platforms
  • Experience with microservices architectures and high-performance distributed systems
  • Experience integrating security controls, threat intelligence feeds, or cyber telemetry into software capabilities
  • Knowledge of secure architectures and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, identity management, API security, or encryption standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
  • AWS Developer, Azure Developer, CEH, or other relevant vendor certifications
