The Work We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Software Senior Engineer with a strong background in Software Assurance. In this role, you will support multiple programs within the IWSS organization, ensuring the security, reliability, and integrity of software systems. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing software assurance/secure coding processes. Technical writing of contract deliverables that include Cyber Analysis and Code Review. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build secure, mission-critical software. Please note: This position is full time on site and is located in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey a campus connected to Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, NJ which is a major engineering and technology hub for Lockheed Martin. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level. This position requires a Sec+ or similar certification. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field with 5+ years relevant experience or Master's and 3+ year of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, secure coding practices, and software security testing.
  • Experience with software assurance tools and technologies, such as static code analysis, dynamic code analysis
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government security clearance at the Secret level(US citizenship is required).
  • This position requires a Sec+ or similar certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification such as CSSLP.
  • 5+ years of experience in software or cyber engineering, with a focus on software assurance/secure coding practices.
  • Experience with penetration and fuzz testing.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with software assurance frameworks and standards, such as NIST SP 800-53 and ISO 27001.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
