The Work We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Software Senior Engineer with a strong background in Software Assurance. In this role, you will support multiple programs within the IWSS organization, ensuring the security, reliability, and integrity of software systems. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing software assurance/secure coding processes. Technical writing of contract deliverables that include Cyber Analysis and Code Review. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build secure, mission-critical software. Please note: This position is full time on site and is located in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey a campus connected to Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, NJ which is a major engineering and technology hub for Lockheed Martin. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level. This position requires a Sec+ or similar certification. Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field with 5+ years relevant experience or Master's and 3+ year of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, secure coding practices, and software security testing.
Experience with software assurance tools and technologies, such as static code analysis, dynamic code analysis
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government security clearance at the Secret level(US citizenship is required).
This position requires a Sec+ or similar certification.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification such as CSSLP.
5+ years of experience in software or cyber engineering, with a focus on software assurance/secure coding practices.
Experience with penetration and fuzz testing.
Experience with agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with software assurance frameworks and standards, such as NIST SP 800-53 and ISO 27001.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible, Python, or PowerShell.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
