About The Position

You will be the Information Systems Security Officer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Team, responsible for securing lifesaving products and critical state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing systems by applying cutting-edge cybersecurity principles. As the ISSO, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day information system security operations, ensuring compliance with internal and customer security requirements, and maintaining the security and integrity of our systems. Requirements

  • Current Secret clearance required
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • Information Systems auditing experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Risk Management Framework Security Controls
  • Knowledgeable of operating system security requirements
  • Hands on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools
  • Ability to travel internationally on a reoccurring basis

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as an ISSO
  • Demonstrated technical experience for Windows, Networking, and/or UNIX-based operating systems
  • Experience in system hardening, analysis, and vulnerability management
  • Experience with the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools such as the STIG Viewer, SCC Tool, ESTIG, and Splunk
  • EMASS package management/creation
  • The ability to speak and present to stakeholders clearly and articulate technical information to a general audience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day information system security operations
  • Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events
  • Document compliance actions and address non-compliance in the allotted time frame
  • Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices
  • Participate in internal/external security audits/inspections and perform risk assessments
  • Maintain records for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, and other equipment throughout the information system's life cycle
  • Evaluate proposed changes or additions to the information system and advise the ISSM of their security relevance
  • Assist in conducting investigations of computer security violations and incidents
