About The Position

DCS Corp is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join a mission-focused team at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity and information assurance, ensuring the integration of cybersecurity products and compliance with relevant regulations throughout the system life-cycle.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • MS in Cybersecurity and 20 years of relevant experience.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification.
  • Sec+ Certification.
  • Extensive experience in operational cybersecurity accreditation and certification of embedded systems accredited at Secret level and below.
  • Understanding of AR 25-2 and the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) with current experience in obtaining system accreditation using the DoD RMF and eMASS software.
  • Experience preparing recommended IA approval and supporting documents; understanding systems engineering processes; and extensive experience in Network Security Architecture.
  • Understanding of DoD standards guiding the development of cybersecurity policy, requirements, integration, engineering, and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and conduct system architecture design, development, integration, testing, installation, and troubleshooting from a cybersecurity viewpoint.
  • Translate military operational and mission requirements into practical systems concepts and design performance requirements.
  • Prepare and review cybersecurity-related test plans, procedures, and reports on technical adequacy for assigned programs.
  • Coordinate integration of cybersecurity, COMSEC, and TEMPEST into the system life-cycle design, development, and deployment.
  • Review and evaluate system performance against cybersecurity requirements and assess risks.
  • Assist product management with cybersecurity-related acquisition documents and compliance with statutory/regulatory policies.
  • Implement the DOD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) with security controls and documentation.
  • Assist with policy, programmatic, budget, and doctrine issues related to Cybersecurity.
  • Prepare recommended IA approval and supporting documentation, understanding systems engineering processes.
  • Assist on matters relating to vulnerabilities and threats to IT Systems and National Security Systems.
  • Perform security analyses and risk/vulnerability assessments.
  • Execute daily certification and accreditation activities for project teams.
  • Identify issues and brief PM on possible courses of action and their impact.
  • Manage computer incident coordination and notification with local Network Enterprise Centers and Computer Emergency Response Teams.
  • Support DoD Inspector General Cybersecurity Self-Assessment checklist compliance and FISMA.
  • Assist with implementing audit measures for compliance and participate in inspections and surveys of computer systems.
  • Participate in post awards, program and design reviews as the cybersecurity specialist on assigned programs.
  • Serve as a consultant and mentor on Cybersecurity matters.
  • Establish new and innovative cybersecurity strategies.
