About the position

The Cyber Security Project Manager will provide expert technical and functional support to meet the requirements of the USAMRDC IASO. This role involves problem analysis, documentation development, and facilitating workshops, while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and protocols. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity measures and support network administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site expert technical and functional support/solutions, problem analysis, and recommendation analysis.
• Develop white papers or other documentation and facilitate workshops to meet or exceed requirements.
• Provide technical assistance for network administrative staff and incident handling.
• Conduct information assurance/security awareness training and update the Vulnerability Tracking Resource Tool.
• Conduct security data calls and implement Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) procedures.
• Ensure implementation of periodic security inspections, assessments, tests, and reviews.
• Establish data ownership and responsibilities for each information system.
• Verify that Cyber personnel are maintaining and auditing access and log data.
• Assist the IAM/DCSIM in identifying and validating Cyber resource requirements.
• Provide input to the IAM for management controls and RMF control validation on system accreditation packages.
• Participate in Command Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) and respond to calls for support from various help desks.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Cybersecurity Management or related role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in all aspects of Cybersecurity including industry standards for requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RMF (Risk Management Framework)
• Valid Secret Clearance license.
