Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced: Cyber Security Project Engineer You will ensure the maintenance of cyber security compliance, and shepherd a mission critical program through the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the project's systems and infrastructure are designed and implemented with security in mind, and that they meet overall cyber security requirements and best practices. This A&A process is rigorous and complex, and requires a deep understanding of the security requirements to lead and navigate through the various stages of completion. You will be responsible for documentation, and achieving the overall authority to operate.

Requirements

  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing IT systems for cyber security vulnerabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure communications and networks.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing infrastructure in public cloud domains.
  • Demonstrated with the entire Assessment and Accreditation process, and acquiring the necessary approvals to develop, implement and operate the created systems.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple entities and other organizations to obtain and maintain the necessary approvals to achieve and maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO) status.
  • Demonstrated experience assessing, addressing, and implementing system security controls.
  • Experience triaging and troubleshooting system issues, and producing technical system documentation to capture those actions.
  • Demonstrated experience with designing and implementing cloud-hosted infrastructure for use with mobile and commercial applications.
  • Experience transferring, handling, and securing sensitive data.
  • Experience developing system design diagrams, as well as briefing system designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
