YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with the technical team to design, develop, test, and implement new networks and network architectures using current technologies, including authorization and accreditation. Collaborate with the technical team to complete requirements for all required approvals and maintain compliance throughout the full lifecycle of the A&A process. Partner with the Sponsor and users to identify and develop system requirements, considering desired outcomes, hardware limitations, and operational needs. Provide operational testing and recommendations for continuous improvement of equipment and software in support of the Sponsor’s goals and objectives. Coordinate across the Sponsor’s organization and business partners to expedite operational approvals. Analyze new technologies, hardware, and software to determine applicability and necessity for existing or proposed systems, including security, storage, and network technologies. Ensure compliance with the Sponsor’s security requirements, including data protection, access control, and incident response. Develop and assist with implementing security controls to protect Sponsor systems and data, including firewalls, multi-factor authentication, and encryption. Conduct internal risk assessments to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies Prepare and maintain security documentation, including System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Action and Milestones. Coordinate with the Sponsor’s security team to ensure projects meet security requirements and resolve security-related issues. Implement the Sponsor’s A&A process, including preparing and submitting required documentation and leading A&A meetings and reviews. Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and cybersecurity requirements such as DISA STIGs.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Demonstrates experience with the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) process and acquiring necessary approvals to develop, implement and operate systems.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, and ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Nice To Haves

  • Certification: EC-Council Ethical Hacker (CEH)
