About The Position

The Cyber Security Program Manager will play a crucial role in leading cyber initiatives and aligning cybersecurity standards within a global maritime and classification company. This position involves close collaboration with the Chief Information Security Officer and requires the individual to drive change in cybersecurity awareness, manage independent projects, and communicate effectively with senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of IT Strategic Program Management experience, with 2-3+ years focused on Cyber Security initiatives.
• Experience leading enterprise-level implementations or realignment to major security controls (NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO 27000, CMMC, ITAR).
• Experience managing programs with budgets of $10-15MM or more.
• Strong IT background with a career progression into PM/Program Management.
• Knowledge in areas outside of cyber, including infrastructure, software/applications, and IT architecture.
• At least 1 Cyber Security certification or knowledge of CMMC.
• GRC/Risk Analysis background.
• Experience establishing a SOC II program.

Responsibilities

• Drive cyber initiatives, processes, and standards across the company.
• Re-align NIST and ISO standards within the organization.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise and Security Architect team to define the future state of cybersecurity controls.
• Enhance cybersecurity awareness across the organization.
• Communicate cyber-related updates and program milestones to the Board of Directors and C-level executives.
• Manage independent projects in collaboration with Project Managers to ensure timely delivery and success.
