As a Cyber Security Operations Business Architect at USAA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Cyber Security Product Category within the Cyber Threat Operations Center (CTOC). Leads research and analysis of the latest information security vulnerabilities and threats.
Shares intelligence with the enterprise and collaborates with external organizations.
Serves as domain expert and improves vulnerability management and security assessment programs.
Develops analysts through training and knowledge sharing activities.
Monitors networks and systems for advanced security anomalies and events.
Trains analysts in incident detection and response.
Leads and improves the incident response program, performing detailed analysis of cyber incidents.
Acts as a leader for cyber incidents and may testify as an authoritative witness in court.
Incorporates discoveries from incident response to improve detection capabilities and security controls.
Prepares and delivers briefs with recommendations to senior leadership on threats and incidents.
Drives and directs quality work efforts and serves as a primary resource for multi-functional team members.

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
8 years of related experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology with a security focus.
6 years of experience in Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Architecture, or related domains.
Expert level of business insight in operations, risk management, and industry practices.
Experience performing security reviews to identify gaps and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Experience investigating malicious activity to determine weaknesses and exploitation methods.

Demonstrates strategic cyber security thought leadership and project management skills.
Develops capability roadmaps and drives prioritization and execution.
Anticipates and identifies information security countermeasures to emerging threats.
Applies technical knowledge to research and plan complex security solutions.
