About The Position

CACI is looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring system security posture assessment, executing certification processes, and implementing continuous monitoring. You will provide expert cybersecurity direction, collaborate with program management, advise government customers, and lead technical staff in supporting deployed capabilities on various networks. Your mission will be to deliver authoritative cybersecurity guidance for system accreditation. This involves developing, engineering, integrating, and testing system components at various Air Force sites. You will work alongside CACI program team members and government cybersecurity personnel to secure systems during development and operations, support efforts to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO), manage external IT audits, and ensure continuous monitoring. Additionally, you will champion the use of emerging technologies, prepare reports, attend meetings, and facilitate investigations of security incidents.

Requirements

  • Expertise in risk assessment tools (eMASS), vulnerability management (ESS, ACAS), and secure network design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications and other required tools.
  • Strong systems integration knowledge and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret if necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology/information systems or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
  • 10+ years of recent experience with DoD/IC security accreditation, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and FISMA requirements.
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level III certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and security topics.
  • Experience with eMASS, Cross Domain Solutions accreditation, and network security vulnerability assessment tools (ACAS, SCAP, ESS, Windows Defender).
  • Knowledge of DoD/IC Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Configuration Management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cybersecurity projects and budgets, coordinate with Program Managers and customers to prioritize tasks, and guide technical staff.
  • Provide full A&A support and technical security guidance throughout the system accreditation process and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Develop and maintain A&A packages and information security plans in alignment with customer policies.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities, provide mitigation guidance, and develop plans of action and milestones (POAMs) to address findings.
  • Review and analyze systems architecture diagrams and networks, conduct cybersecurity testing, and lead Technical Exchange Meetings.
  • Convey complex security solutions to peers and customers, and provide inputs to development efforts for evolving cybersecurity requirements.
