Come join our family at In-N-Out Burger! We have an excellent opportunity for a temporary, part-time Cyber Security Intern on the Information Technology team, located in the Irvine, CA office. This position will support the Cyber Security team and work on projects including Privilege Access Management, Secure Email Gateways, PCI-DSS Certification, Security Awareness Programs, and Product research/evaluations. This is an 8-week temp assignment.

Assist in implementing and testing different elements of a Privileged Access Management system.
Assist with replacing and implementing a new Secure Email Gateway product, verifying different security policies and assuring best practices are in place.
Assist with writing policy/procedures around the different Cyber Security programs we are working on for the year, including vulnerability management procedures and desktop patching.
Assist with preparing the Cyber Security team in acquiring a recertification of PCI-DSS, including exposure to understanding POS systems, networking, and other key infrastructure technologies.
Evaluate vendors for security controls, gaining exposure to understand security controls and the purpose for implementing them.

Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of Cyber Security principles and practices.
Ability to work part-time in an office environment.

Experience with Privileged Access Management systems.
Familiarity with Secure Email Gateways.
Knowledge of PCI-DSS requirements.
