About The Position

The Cybersecurity Intern will support the IT Security team in protecting the organization's systems, networks, and data. This role provides hands-on experience in monitoring, vulnerability management and incident response while learning industry best practices. The internship is designed for students seeking to build a foundation in cybersecurity. This is a hybrid role in our corporate location in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA), work from home 4 days a week, in office on Thursdays.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
• Assist in investigating suspicious activity and supporting incident response.
• Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance checks.
• Research and document emerging cybersecurity threats, risks, and trends.
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives and end-user training.
• Support IT/security projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
