About The Position

Corpay is a leading global payments and financial services firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA. We invite you to join our 10-12-week paid summer internship program for rising juniors and seniors. As an intern, you will be expected to work onsite reporting to our Buckhead office location. Corpay will set you up for success by providing an assigned workspace in the office and company-issued equipment, along with formal, hands-on training.

Requirements

• Currently a student with an interest in Cyber Security
• Strong academic record, 3.5 GPA or greater
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills required
• Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required
• Must be committed to working a 20-hour work week for 8 weeks during the summer months

Responsibilities

• Monitoring network traffic for unusual activity
• Reviewing logs from firewalls, antivirus tools, and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems
• Helping identify system and network vulnerabilities using tools like Nessus, OpenVAS, or Qualys
• Assisting in scanning and documenting security weaknesses
• Aiding in identifying, analyzing, and responding to security breaches
• Learning to document incidents and remediation steps
• Researching emerging cybersecurity tools and best practices
