About The Position

Akkodis is seeking a Cyber Security - IAM Professional Services for a Contract with a client in Carey, NC. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in Identity Access Management, Enterprise Vulnerability Management, and Managed Detection & Response. Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus on IAM solutions.
Proven expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementation and administration across enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Enterprise Vulnerability Management (EVM) and Managed Detection & Response (MDR) solutions for proactive threat mitigation.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to ensure secure user authentication and authorization across enterprise systems.
Manage Enterprise Vulnerability Management (EVM) processes, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks.
Deploy and maintain Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions to monitor and respond to security incidents in real time.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM policies and security controls into business applications and infrastructure.
Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Provide technical guidance and best practices for IAM, EVM, and MDR implementations to strengthen overall cybersecurity posture.
