Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected UNDERGRAD OR GRAD (based on HM request) students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. The Security team, based in Mountain View, CA, plays a critical role in ensuring the security of all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This team is responsible for implementing robust security measures across the entire development process, including code scanning (both Static and Dynamic analysis) and infrastructure scanning. The team works in close collaboration with the Corporate Privacy and Legal teams to ensure that regulatory requirements are seamlessly integrated into the product buildout process. This ensures that Samsung's products meet the highest standards of security and compliance. As an Intern in this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and partner teams, including Engineering, DevOps, and Corporate Security. Your primary responsibilities will include gathering information, developing, and performing Software Threat Assessments, as well as providing remediation recommendations using commercial-grade security toolsets. These activities are crucial for protecting customer-sensitive data and assets within Samsung's perimeter. Additionally, you will conduct open-source research on security technology stacks and data collection to identify potential security risks and emerging global threats that could impact Samsung's software products. This role will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering and contribute to Samsung's mission of delivering secure and reliable products to its customers.
