About The Position

We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, providing analysis, guidance, and remediation requirements. The candidate will also provide Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) hardening guidance and complete daily system audit analysis and log reviews. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated CI polygraph prior to starting.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with adjudicated CI poly required prior to start.
• Must have DoD 8570/8140 approved certification such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CISSP, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of or hands-on experience with performing Cybersecurity activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing, and sustainment.
• Secure Configuration/Hardening of Department of Defense (DoD) information systems.
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and cloud technologies.
