About The Position

At Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission System's Cyber Resiliency organization, we are dedicated to engineering and deploying cutting-edge cyber defense solutions across our corporation. Our focus on cybersecurity is paramount to ensuring mission success for our customers, even in the face of evolving cyber threats. As a member of our team, you will be involved in a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the cyber resiliency of the USSF Space Fence System radar.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Cyber Security or related field and 2 years related professional service or related Masters degree with no experience
  • Demonstrable and relevant cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience
  • Good working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems
  • Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification or higher (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or CISSP)
  • Ability to obtain a Secret DoD Secret security clearance prior to starting this position
  • Must hold a valid US passport
  • Ability to travel up to 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.

  • Tenable Security Center, Tenable Nessus, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) administration experience
  • ACAS scanning
  • Trellix and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) administration and monitoring
  • SolarWinds tools experience
  • Linux/Red Hat or Windows OS certifications
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory
  • Familiarity with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
  • Troubleshooting as a systems administrator
  • Good organizational and coordination skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support and collaborate with a team
  • Critical thinking skills to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity

Responsibilities

  • Hardening operating systems, applications, and network devices
  • Conducting vulnerability scans
  • Continuous monitoring of the security posture of the system
  • Assisting with Government Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Vulnerability Testing
  • Implementing security updates and patches
  • Applying configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and SolarWinds security tools
  • Providing support to maintain the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the system to include support of the RMF package
  • Supporting system administrators, engineers, and operators when troubleshooting events
  • Collaboration with system stakeholders to ensure the cybersecurity posture of the system is maintained
  • Interfacing with and supporting the ISSO and other government security stakeholders
