About The Position

The position is for a cybersecurity engineer working for Lockheed Martin National Security Space. Applicant should have experience with Cloud Native Computing Foundation project like Kubernetes as well as Red Hat Linux, Windows, Cisco, and cybersecurity frameworks. As a cybersecurity engineer you will have the opportunity work across a broad range of technical and engineering activities in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Requirements

• An advance understand of Cyber Security implementations and Risk Management Framework (RMF) (SP 800-53)
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes, VMware, Linux and Windows operating systems, networking
• Experience RMF with Body of Evidence management
• Technical curiosity to learn new skills and are ready to help across the team
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and/or patching
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required

Nice To Haves

• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance (with investigation within 5 years)
• Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.)
• Strong understanding of System Security Engineering (SSE) principals and process
• Advanced Understanding of Risk Management Frame Work (RMF) NIST SP 800-53
• Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (i.e., 2008 R2/2012/2016/2019/2022)
• Knowledge of Linux Administration (RH7.x, RH8.x)
• Familiarity of cloud based services
• Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, API's, Jenkins, Github and Gitlab
• Jira and Confluence
