Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer Intern for the a DoD Program located in King of Prussia, PA. In this role, you will: Evaluate systems and designs to determine cybersecurity characteristics. Conduct system configuration hardening (e.g. DISA STIGs) Identify and conduct cybersecurity testing and risk analysis at the system and component level. Communicate assessment results. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of: General understanding of system and component functionality. Familiar with cybersecurity requirements. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program from an accredited college in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
  • General understanding of system and component functionality.
  • Familiar with cybersecurity requirements.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Windows or Linux (e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu)
  • Scripting (e.g. Python, shell/bash, PowerShell)
  • Risk Management as it relates to cybersecurity
  • Experience in testing environment
