About The Position

As a Cyber Security Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions to protect our critical assets and information. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the development of secure systems. You will report directly to our Cyber Security Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the security posture of our systems, ensuring that they are resilient against emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Requirements

• US PERSON REQUIREMENT Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
• 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java for automation and scripting tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Experience with security compliance frameworks such as NIST or ISO.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions to protect critical assets.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle of products and systems.
