We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst as part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work. Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of IT strategic planning experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Understanding of software and secure coding practices
  • Understanding of hardware vulnerabilities and remediation practices
  • Understanding of network architecture
  • System Admin experience, minimum of 2 years
  • Understanding of guidelines (laws, regulatory) requirements for Cybersecurity i.e., NIST guidelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Preferable experience with IT Audits / RMF

Responsibilities

  • Possess extensive knowledge and experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles
  • Execute cyber–Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for up to three FISMA boundaries and the technologies in them.
  • Prepare cybersecurity meeting facilitation plans, agendas, and materials for use during meetings and provide meeting facilitation for new acquisition-led meetings per year (includes coordinating meetings across APM, STIP/DOMAIN vendor, Information Assurance Division (IAD), and Privacy).
  • Prepare ad hoc status reports, presentations, and briefings (e.g., Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 199, security requirements for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), System Security Plan (SSP) control matrix, data calls, contingency and configuration management plans) related to IT Security Support.
  • Prepare and support recurring status reports for Cyber project tracking and monitoring efforts.
  • Assist in the review of cybersecurity solutions that may impact related activities and cybersecurity strategy (e.g., review of engineering documents)
  • Support Information System Security Officer (ISSO) functions required, including coordination with IT IAD to ensure compliance with all TSA and DHS guidance.
  • Develop, maintain, and provide ongoing support for all required Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documentations and processes.
  • Support coordination efforts for APM TSE security related proof of concepts.
  • Support the development of TSE IT and cyber security briefings and related deliverables, such a program and TSE risk scoring both internal to TSA and for external stakeholders.
  • Support all ISSO/Information System Security Manager (ISSM) functions required by the STIP, CPSS, CAT, BRT, OPS and APM General Support System.
  • Support all Cybersecurity SME functions required by CPSS and APM General Support System, including coordination with OIT IAD to ensure compliance with all TSA and DHS guidance.
  • Serve as the Primary liaison for all cybersecurity related tasks to include tasks managed by TSEs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to provide status on all deliverables.
  • Maintain Cybersecurity Team channel with current project status.
  • Keep government ISSO abreast of all Cyber related details.
