About The Position
The New York Yankees are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join their Information Technology department. This role is crucial in safeguarding the organization's hardware, software, and networks from potential threats, theft, loss, or unauthorized access. The Cyber Security Analyst will play a key role in identifying vulnerabilities within existing security systems and proactively developing solutions to enhance the overall security posture of the organization. The position is full-time and non-exempt, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Information Technology. In this role, the Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring all networks and endpoints for security threats and breaches. This includes investigating incidents and responding to threats in real-time, ensuring that any potential risks are addressed promptly. The analyst will also perform periodic risk assessments and penetration testing to identify and fix vulnerabilities within the system. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the development and promotion of cybersecurity best practices across the organization, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining various cybersecurity platforms and tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cyber security, with a focus on both technical skills and effective communication.
