About The Position

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Cyber Security Analyst (IV&V) is the Contractor’s lead technical authority for Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V). This role is responsible for conducting independent technical assessments of DIS systems, validating system releases, assessing SDLC artifacts, and identifying technical, operational, and compliance risks. The Senior Technical Analyst provides objective technical insight across system performance, testing, documentation, architecture considerations, and compliance with federal and departmental requirements. This role directly supports DIS leadership by translating technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum 7 years of experience performing technical analysis, IV&V, system testing, or system oversight for IT systems
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Agile SDLC environments
Demonstrated experience with: System testing methodologies, Requirements validation, Release readiness assessments
Experience reviewing system and operational documentation
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of federal IT environments and governance, Experience assessing system performance, capacity, and operational metrics, Ability to evaluate technical risks and system impacts objectively
Federal Environment Experience (Required): Experience supporting federal civilian IT systems, preferably high-availability or mission-critical platforms
Security: Eligible to obtain and maintain HHS suitability at Position Sensitivity Level 5/6, Ability to obtain HSPD-12 credentials
