About The Position
As a Cyber Risk Specialist at McKinsey & Company, you will be an integral part of our global Risk & Resilience practice, working alongside a team of consultants and experts. Your role will be based in one of our major offices, including Boston, Chicago, New York, Silicon Valley, or Washington DC. You will collaborate with colleagues from McKinsey Digital to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity strategies tailored to our clients' unique business priorities. In this position, you will engage in client-based teams to establish cyber resiliency and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies. Your responsibilities will include assessing risk and resilience, securing digital transformations, and building long-term cyber capabilities for our clients. You will help clients understand and quantify their cyber exposures, evaluate their cyber resiliency strategies, and utilize our proprietary assessments to deliver core methodologies. This will involve gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations for client presentations. McKinsey emphasizes strengths-based development and coaching, providing you with frequent mentoring from senior colleagues. You will also have a professional development manager to assist you in selecting projects that align with your career goals and the needs of client service teams.
