About The Position

As a Cyber Operations Lead you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the patch management process within the program, ensuring desktops, laptops, and remote desktops are up to date with patches to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with policies against comply- to-connect. You'll work closely with end users, IT, and security teams to provide advanced support, coordinate patch deployment, and maintain consistency. Successful candidates must have deep understanding of patch management principles and experience with related tools (e.g., Microsoft WSUS, SCCM). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. We are looking for proficiency in developing documentation and knowledge of data security best practices, and someone who has the ability to maintain a patch management schedule and ensure timely deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or technical field
• 8 years of experience in patch management or related IT role
• Experience with patch automation e.g. AWS, Ansible, Tanium etc.
• Experience in assessments, audits, and implementing automated patch management solutions
• Understanding of patch management principles and experience with related tools (e.g., Microsoft WSUS, SCCM)
• Experience leading multiple teams
• Any of the following certifications: CEH(P), GMON, GRID, Cloud+, FITSP-O, GCED, GDSA, GSEC, PenTest+, Security+
• An active Secret clearance is required

Nice To Haves

• One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CPMP, CySA+, GICSP
