About The Position

About the Role We’re looking for a highly skilled engineer who operates at the intersection of data engineering and AI systems. This role focuses on building scalable workflows, integrating AI capabilities, and designing robust APIs that power intelligent applications. You’ll work with tools like Apache Airflow, OpenAPI standards, and Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK) to orchestrate data pipelines and deploy AI-driven solutions in production environments.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Apache Airflow (DAG design, scheduling, monitoring)
  • Hands-on experience building or integrating AI/LLM-based systems
  • Experience designing and documenting APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud ecosystem, especially Google ADK or similar agent frameworks
  • Proficiency in Python (and optionally Go/JavaScript)
  • Experience with distributed systems and data pipelines (batch + streaming)
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, etc.)
  • Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, etc.)
  • Background in data engineering, MLOps, or platform engineering

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow
  • Develop and integrate AI/ML workflows into production systems
  • Build and manage APIs using OpenAPI specifications (RESTful and/or agent-based interfaces)
  • Leverage Google ADK to create, deploy, and manage AI agents and workflows
  • Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to operationalize models
  • Ensure reliability, observability, and performance of data and AI systems
  • Implement best practices for versioning, testing, and CI/CD across pipelines and APIs
  • Optimize data processing and orchestration for cost and efficiency
