This position will support the DISA GSM-O II Task Number 07 (TN07) Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC). GSM-O II provides network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in support of the DoD and COCOMs. The selected candidate shall provide a stabilizing force to the high intensity, high tempo operations center. In depth technical knowledge, leadership, and analytic skills address senior command requirements, subordinate command information requirements, as well as supplements operations during a time of need. Primary Responsibilities Stay abreast of operational directives and developments across the enterprise to ensure command leadership maintains situational awareness. Provide daily operational updates on all concurrent and pending operations and activities Inform and address CC/S/A/FA headquarter communication and information requirements Coordinate and assess network defense operations with DoD CC/S/A/FA and monitor and report effect of DCO-IDM operations on CC/S/A/FA missions Provide surge support for current operations, to include, but not limited to, Crisis Action Teams, DCDC-DODIN COOP events and Operation Planning Teams Provide daily management of CC/S/A/FA interruptions/disruptions and restoral of services, such as Authorized Service Interruption (ASI), PONDS, expiring authority to connect, disconnect, and reconnect requests of NIPR and SIPR circuits Coordinate, adjudicate and recommend interruptions/disruptions and restoration of services requests to leadership Manage and review submitted artifacts in support of recommendations and decisions.
