About The Position

The CyberLife Subject Matter Expert (SME) at DXC Technology is responsible for developing software products and solutions within the CyberLife insurance domain. This role involves providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and supporting the professional growth of team members. The SME will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery while managing project tasks and timelines effectively. The position emphasizes fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with CyberLife insurance product.
• Proficiency in mainframe technologies, including COBOL, VSAM, JCL, REXX, and CICS.
• Deep understanding of the Life Insurance domain.
• Experience in both developing new functions and working as an analyst.
• Proven experience working within Agile teams.
• Experience with an onshore-offshore development model.
• Ability to write test scenarios for developed functionality.
• Strong analytical and coding skills for designing system changes.
• Preferably knowledgeable in CyberLife online and batch processing architecture.
• Capable of producing technical documentation, including module-level specifications, work product reviews, process improvements, and unit test scenarios.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 6+ years of relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.

Nice To Haves

• An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or training are a plus.
