About The Position

The Opportunity : Work as part of an innovative team on various aspects of the cybersecurity field. Participate in cybersecurity training courses, research, and organizing best practices for incident detection and response activities and work with audio and video recording of training materials. Learn to build lab exercises in a virtual machine environment to train specific cybersecurity tasks. Assist with programming and scripting while learning to work with hardware and sof tware and various aspects of the sof tware development lifecycle. Interview subject matter experts to gather cybersecurity best practices and work on research projects for the client. Learn and apply Agile project planning and other tasks and train in the cybersecurity field.

Requirements

• Experience with cybersecurity principles
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a Cyber field by Winter 2027

Nice To Haves

• Experience with computer or network security
• Experience with telecommunications
• Knowledge of engineering, programming, and sof tware testing principles
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication
• TS / SCI clearance
• Information Assurance Certification

• Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
• The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
• The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
