The Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) combines technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities in the areas of cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics to support our defense and intel customers’ mission to defend against evolving threats around the world. The National Security Sector (NSS) seeks highly qualified and trained journeyman-level Cyberspace Intelligence Analysts to support a full-spectrum cyberspace operations focused on collecting, processing, and analyzing data to understand a threat actor's motives, capabilities, and activities across the entire cyber domain. This work directly supports military, intelligence, and other government agencies in both defensive and offensive cyber missions. This role will participate in the program’s robust cross training program and be certified and willing to support surge requirements in a mission critical JOC role, if required. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award. What you’ll be doing: Research and analyze emerging cyber threats, attack methodologies, and vulnerabilities to provide actionable intelligence to cyber defense teams. Work with cyber operators to identify, probe, and exploit system vulnerabilities on adversary networks for offensive cyberspace operations (OCO). Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts in real-time to detect, identify, and report on security incidents and vulnerabilities. Participate in joint and interagency planning groups to integrate cyber capabilities into broader military and intelligence operations. Synthesize raw data from a wide variety of sources, including signals intelligence (SIGINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), and open-source intelligence (OSINT), to develop a comprehensive understanding of the cyber battlespace. Maintain and provide situational awareness of the cyber domain to commanders and other senior leaders to support critical decision-making. Create and present detailed reports, briefings, and other products to document threats, communicate findings, and provide analysis on cyber activities. Support integration and synchronization of intelligence planning activities with operational planning timelines. Interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and guidance relevant to daily activities. Communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
