About The Position

The position focuses on analyzing and mitigating branding and reputation threats to the organization, particularly in the realm of cybersecurity. The role involves investigating security incidents, developing cyber-intelligence tools, and ensuring the protection of proprietary data and systems. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining security incident programs and conducting audits to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in systems security.
  • Effective communication skills to present technical approaches and findings clearly.
  • Attention to detail and ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze potential branding and reputation threats to the organization and take action to resolve them.
  • Create cyber-intelligence tools and methods to mitigate data and cybersecurity risks.
  • Investigate computer and information security incidents to assess the extent of compromise to national security information.
  • Assist in defining security objectives and system-level performance requirements.
  • Research and stay updated on tools, techniques, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities.
  • Configure and validate secure systems, testing security products to detect weaknesses.
  • Maintain the computer and information security incident, damage, and threat assessment programs.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of system audits and monitor corrective actions until closure.
  • Support the development of integrated system solutions to protect proprietary data and systems.
  • Establish strict program control processes for risk mitigation and support system certification and accreditation.
  • Perform research using publicly available data sources and data mining tools.
  • Ingest, triage, prioritize, assign, track, document, and manage branding or reputation incidents.
  • Document technical details of current or potential brand threats.
  • Monitor websites, search engines, and the dark web for potential brand threats.
  • Conduct social media and chat site monitoring.
