Requirements

• Associate's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in systems security.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential branding and reputation threats to the organization and take action to resolve them.
• Support the creation of cyber-intelligence tools and methods.
• Assist with research and analysis to mitigate data and cybersecurity risks.
• Investigate computer and information security incidents to determine the extent of compromise to national security information.
• Assist with defining security objectives and system-level performance requirements.
• Research and stay abreast of tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities.
• Validate secure systems and test security products to detect weaknesses.
• Maintain the computer and information security incident, damage, and threat assessment programs.
• Conduct periodic reviews of system audits and monitor corrective actions until closure.
• Use data mining tools to collect data for further research and analysis.
• Provide support through front-line telephone and email communications.
• Ingest, triage, prioritize, assign, track, document, and manage branding or reputation incidents.
• Document technical details of current or potential brand threats.
• Monitor websites and search engines for specific referenced websites.
• Conduct dark web monitoring and resolve potential brand threats.
• Monitor social media and chat sites.
