About The Position

Parsons is seeking a visionary Cyber Incident Response Director to establish and oversee a cutting-edge Security Operations Center (SOC) for the FAA BNATCS program. The Director will collaborate closely with FAA leadership, BNATCS Domains, IT teams, and business stakeholders to define and enforce security policies and standards while providing regular updates on the program's network defense posture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Program Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing SOC operations.
  • US Persons required

Nice To Haves

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred.
  • Additional certifications such as CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or GIAC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation and execution of 24/7 cyber incident response of systems and equipment to ensure timely detection, triage, containment, and remediation of cybersecurity incidents.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Incident Response Plan (IRP) in compliance with FAA SOPs, including JO1900.47.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA cybersecurity requirements, including recordkeeping, evidence preservation, and incident reporting.
  • Drive the integration of AI/ML tools to enhance anomaly detection and predictive capabilities for equipment and services.
  • Provide regular updates to FAA leadership and executive management on the program's security posture and SOC maturity initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor SOC personnel, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to align security operations with organizational goals.
